VENDSYS MOBILE-X PRIVACY POLICY
VendSys Product Team, a Synectic Software Solutions Inc Team, (also Developers, Support Team, We, Us, or Our) respects the privacy of our VendSys Mobile X application (the Application) users (also User, Merchandizer, Route Service Representative [RSR], Client Management, you, or your). This privacy policy provides a clear explanation of how we collect, use, and protect your Personally Identifiable Information (PII) when you use the Application. We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. You will be advised if any updates are applied to this policy.
The information collected by the application
The PII information collected by the application includes information already known to the application and information unknown to the application. The information known to the application collected consists of data collected when accounts are established through the VendSys desktop application including user name, merchandizer/RSR name and merchandizer route. The information unknown to the application collected consists of merchandizer/RSR route navigation details such as the route GPS location. However, third party applications used within the application for mapping and route navigation may collect additional PII information. Collection, use, and handling of PII information by third party applications is outside the scope of this privacy policy. You will have the option to choose the mapping and route navigation application to use. You should review and confirm your agreement to the privacy policy provided by the mapping and route navigation application you will choose to use within the application.
When the information is collected
The information is collected within the application when issues are identified, when the application crashes, and when servicing a route.
How the information collected is used
We may use the information we collect in the following ways:
- To provide more details when we respond to you in regards to the issues you may report
- To expedite resolution of the issues you may report
- To follow up and confirm that the issues you may report are resolved once related updates are available to you
- By the client management to understand how a route is used
How the information collected is protected
The information collection is protected using similar security measures implemented within the application including encryption and authentication. The data collected is made available to the application developers, application support team, and client management.
For how long the information collected is kept
The information linked to issues in the application is kept for as long as needed to resolve the issues. The information linked to issues is no longer considered useful when issues are resolved and may be deleted immediately or kept protected until deleted at any time. The information related to route use is kept protected until deleted when deletion is considered appropriate.
